All our activities aim to address a gap or a need in the education system and in society.

The amount donated by you will be utilized by Urvashi Foundation to systematically execute the projects with our partner schools – and you will also get a report on how the money has been used through pictures and newsletters.

Lakhania Primary School, Gujarat

Lakhania Primary School is located in the village premises at Lakhania village, Kutchh, Gurjarat. This is the only school for the children in the Lakhania and nearby villages. The school works with Grade 2 to 7 with a total 120 village children. There are total 4 teachers (2 male + 2 female), taking care of all the classes. The school has separate classrooms for different standards. The school also has a pre-primary section with 40 student.


Shree Swaminarayan (Shishu) Mandir, Odhisa

Shree Swaminarayan (Shishu) Mandir is a school with 190 students in the remote village of Chakulia District, Jagatsinghpur District in Odhisa. This school was completely destroyed in the cyclone of October 1999 and was reconstructed in the rehabilitation work done post the cyclone. It was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik and Sri Sri Gajapati DivyaSinh Devji Maharaj on June 10, 2001.


Shashi Mangalyam Education Society

Sashi Mangalyam School for children in need of special care was established in 1958 at Juhu, Mumbai by an educationist & psychologist, Dr. (Smt.) Sushilaben Shrinivasan.


Raigad Zilla Parishad Primary School

Raigad Zilla Parishad Primary School is a small school with 31 village children located in Sagachiwadi, Karjat, Raigad District, Maharashtra. The school was established in 1978 by the State Government.


10 schools in the villages of Thane, Palghar, Panvel

There is a cluster of 10 schools in the villages of Baliwali, Moj, Nihali, Kolim Sarovar, Dadhare, Dhapad, Shele, Kalambholi, Ghatalpada and Shirsad in the districts of Thane, Palghar and Panvel which are run by the State Government and collectively have around 429 students.
