Saraswati Ganpat Patil Vidyalaya is a local high school located at Kelthan at Wada, Palghar District. This school is located at the banks of Tansa river. Every year during monsoons, the school gets flooded and remains closed for months together, which affects the education of the students.
Urvashi Foundation has donated towards the redevelopment of this school. The new design proposed for the school has classrooms at an elevated level. The construction of three classrooms (Phase I) stands at the core of the redevelopment work which is being designed to seat 60 students comfortably and is slated to be completed before April 2024.
