Zilla Parishad School, Ujjaini, is a school in a remote area, at the far end of Wada Taluka, with 109 students from std. 1 to 7 and 40 students in the Anganwadi. These children are from very underserved communities belonging to the Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribes, and most of the children’s parents are hired as labourers at the rice fields, during the seasonal crop sowing and harvesting.
